Researchers set out to see whether acetaminophen or anti-inflammatory drugs provide greater pain relief for osteoarthritis pain. Their review of 15 randomized clinical trials has found that drugs such as ibuprofen and celecoxib (Celebrex) work better than acetaminophen or placebo.
