Natural Arthritis Treatments

New pain med shows promise

A series of animal studies suggests an experimental anti-inflammatory medication may be an effective treatment for arthritis and other inflammatory conditions. The med is in the new class of meds known as flavonoid anti-inflammatory molecules, or FAIMs. Experts say medications in this class could provide inflammation relief without gastrointestinal or cardiovascular side effects.
