Arthritis takes major toll on the workplace

A new study suggests that arthritis can have a significant impact on a person's employment. Researchers tracked 490 people with osteoarthritis and inflammatory arthritis for more than four years. They found that arthritis-related disability forced many of these people to change work hours, to alter the type and nature of their work, or--in some cases--to lose their jobs. Read more »
