Hi,
I have been injecting Forteo for the past 3 months and was one of those people who thought "Oh....I don't think I can do that".
I now find it to be very easy to do and I don't have any problems. Sure, it is an inconvenience (just like remembering to take medications). I also experience leg cramps and aches (I never had before). The Dr. swears it has nothing to do with the Forteo, but when a get a little shooting pain, I tell myself it my bones getting stronger. I am 63 and work every day, love to garden, walk on the beach, and enjoy life.
Last night, I went out to dinner with my husband and while I was in the restaurant, there entered a severly bent over senior lady. I went home thinking I am so thankful there is something out there that might prevent me from being in her situation (in my years to come).
