My 49 year old husband has COPD and treatment for this is Prednisone. This steriod use caused Avascular Necrosis. This led to a partial humerus replacement and during the op, a spiral fracture of the humerus. Forteo was recommended to regrow bone and used for 2 years and after the 1st ye...
