I agre that men, too, should be screened, but I also agree very strongly that the doctors should evaluate CORRECTLY who needs the scans and who doesn't, and not just for men. Too many doctors over here write unnecessary scans for folks who are 'just checking' to see if they have sommat without actually looking into whether the scan is needed or not. This will cut down on unnecessary scans and ensure that we can offer a better service to the patients that really need us.

I agree absolutely. Osteopenia/porosis are conditions that are ripe for overtesting and overtreatment.
