    Hi Carol:  Welcome to the community.  Sorry to hear you have AML, but it sounds like you've had success in treating it, I hope so.  You must be a very strong person!

     

    Here's a link on Reclast that may be of help.  The Cleveland Clinic did a study on Reclast treatment after Forteo, but I don't know if the study results are available yet.  

     

    If you're also thinking about Boniva, here's a link from Dr Gonter that will explain it as well.

    Hi Carol:  I found the link to the study I mentioned, and it looks like the final info won't be recorded until May 2009.  You might want to keep an eye on this study to see what the outcomes were for patients recieving Reclast after completing the course of Forteo.

     

    Here's the link to the notice and criteria of the study.  We'll have to wait to get the final results after they are collected by the Cleveland Clinic.

    This only provides info for one of your questions, but at least there was a study done on your particular question, about Forteo and Reclast.
