Loss of appetitite after using Forteo pen

Tuesday, December 04, 2007 at 02:30 AMMy 79 year old mother in law just started her third Forteo pen. Her doctor recommended the pen after her fall last October which fractured her right pelvic bones. Maybe because of the trauma of the fall, she's not eating but now her bones are healing well, she's still not eating. She' s lost nearly 10 kg.I was wondering if this a side effect of using the pen. Can anyone help?
