Hi all,
I have osteoporosis and lift weights, but I have been unable to find anywhere what the maximum safe weight to lift for people with osteoporosis is.  I am 51 and petite.  Does anybody have any advice or ideas?

Thanks.

I don't know about an exact number, but your dedication is terrific! Lots of studies have shown that strength training can help increase bone mass in people with osteoporosis, especially in the spine. I just saw an interesting article about this at http://www.newstarget.com/010528.html
