Dear PJ Hamel,

Always you have done it again -- a universal idea in the simplest of words! The only thing you forgot in this wonderful digression was Vit D although you mentioned calcium. We know it wont get absorbed without Vit D. So they should take either supplements of up to 4000 IU per day or else take sun baths!! Maybe you can add this in a supplementary discussion -- as Vit D is said to be a panacea for all elderly folk and helps the bones as well as balance and muscles and general well being, besides being good for the heart and cardiovascular system, and promotes longetivity.
