I was just diagnosed with osteoporosis and my Dr. has prescribed Miacalcin Nasal Spray.  Has anyone using it experienced any weight gain or hairloss.  Thanks!

Kudos to you for taking charge of your bone health. I hope that your medication regimen goes smoothly and that your density improves before long. Regards, Lila

Are you on synthroid for hypothyroidism; maybe it is your thyroid.  I have spoken to many pharmacists and you should not have any of these side effects.  Most of nasal related.  Sufficient calcium and Vitamin D is necessary every single day.  Weight gain is also a sympton of underactive thyroid. Check all other medications
