This is a great thing to get done. I had it done and i now know for the sake of my children that i do not carry this gene.It is a simple blood test that you will never regret. It took such a load off us all and the worry is down to a minumal. Knowing if you carry this Gene would help you better ...

    Pam, thank you so much for sharing your experience. Research is moving so fast, hopefully soon we'll have the ability to be informed about our genetics in regard to even more possible illnesses.

    Yes that would be awesome... That way not olny do we know what we have ahead of us but our children may deside what they are doing as well. If my test would have come back that i do carry the cancer gene, my daughter was not going to have children in fear of them seeing what she did with me and the pain i go threw all the time. So needless to say when it came back negitive, we cried for about a hour in joy. These tests mean more to some like me then others but at least there is answers to some of our questions.
