    You say the results are impressive. From the percentages cited, there was a 40% reduction in hip fractures in the women who took Denosumab. This implies that if 100 women had hip fracture in the placebo group, 60 women had hip fractures in the Denosumab group. That does not sound encouraging nor impressive. Obviously, the new drug is not going to be a silver bullet for every women. Are there factors (Age, BMI, other medication taken, etc. ) that favor a certain type of women for whom the drug may be effective?

    Are there any studies yet regarding the effectiveness of Denosumab on those who have completed their 2 years of Forteo on maintaining their bone density gain?
