Dear Pam!

You are a life saver!! What a wonderful piece of information -- so perfect and so exact!! I wish there was a way to preserve this page as a picture. My printer just does not work. Thanks so much -- I am going to make my daily calcium intake from this chart of yours!

I also love the start of the topic where the fruits are printed out on the top. Do you make the title page yourself? Beautiful!!

Best wishes and thanks again,

Yours,

Priya

Hi Priya, so glad you like the article and chart.  I tried to include things with the highest amounts of Ca I could find in the USDA database.  I also included the link to our FoodFit site so you could find recipes for all that's listed.  Also, check the site for checking on foods absorbability to be sure you are actually getting all the Ca it lists.  For some, milk isn't as absorbable, compared to greens, so see how much you are actually getting from milk, if you drink that.

Yes I did all the work myself on the article.  The chart/table of foods is easily done in Microsoft Word, and I just included the picture as an after-thought.  Everything you see that I do is always done by me, since there's no one else to do it.  That's my job, and I am a very visual learner/person, so I like tables/chart/pictures, it just makes it more visually appealing, instead of text all the time.

Thanks again for your loyal readership and kind words, you never cease to amaze me!  I hope you can get your printer fixed or get a new one soon.

Hi Priya, I just thought of something...If you were asking if I somehow created that calcium picture the answer is no.  HealthCentral uses a lot of ADAM content and pictures, so those are available to us for use, to upload into our blogs, if we choose.  I use other pictures as well, from differing places, but only those that can be used that don't infringe on any copyright or ones that can be re-used for educational purposes only; like the ones used in the many other blogs in the past.

Thanks again...

Dear Pam!

Many thanks for the clarification! I am off to New Delhi and will see that I get all the calcium products you have stated in this wonderful article! I worry about the dust in the air from the dry caked earth and people playing ball in the fields kicking up dust opposite out house there. How does one keep the dust out of the nose? That could be an important topic for you to consider-- how to save the lungs from atmospheric pollution. Wet hankies over the nose, as I sometimes do? Please write something about pollution that will help all those living in the big cities - apart from the diet!

Thanks again!

Yours,

Priya

Dear Pam,

Thanks again! You sure are hard working and creative even if you use ready made pictures now and then!

Thanks,

Yours,

Priya
