Hi Pam
Will you be going to this meeting? What do you predict will be the outcome? Thank you for giving this information to us.
I have an off-topic question for you. I am currently taking Advair for asthma related symptoms. I saw on television of all things...a commercial for this inhaler and it said there is a risk for developing osteoporosis in taking Advair. Do you know anything about this? I am taking it daily now. I was not told about this side effect from my doctor...next time I go in I want to ask.
Thanks Pam!
Hi MM, thanks for stopping by...No I'm not going to this meeting, but I know several others who are.
Yes Advair is one of many meds that can cause bone loss, since it's a steriod. Steriods are the number one medication cause for bone loss. Here's a list of medications that cause bone loss. You may also want to look at all the medical disorders that cause it as well.
Hope you are doing well and having a nice week. Thanks again for commenting!
