Dear Pam!
You are doing a great service to the patients and sufferers of osteoporosis for whom DXA scans are so expensive. Although I am not directly affected by the conditions in the USA yet I must say that we would wish such conditions to be perfected in the same manner as you would wish yours to be perfected there. I fully enodorse your efforts and hope that your posts will awaken the powers that be to take appropriate steps.
Best wishes and thanks,
SincerelyYours,
Priya
Hi Priya, thanks so much for stopping by! I'm worried about this development, and am glad you don't have this problem in your country. I know you don't have the same access to dxa, as we do, but the state of this test is in jeopardy. If we lose this test, we won't have anything else that's equivalent to measure bone loss.
I hope you're doing well and increasing your bmd with exercise and supplements.
Keep your fingers crossed that we can resolve this before it's too late.
Thanks again, have a great weekend.
Pam
Thank you Pam for bringing this to our attention!
Hi Emmie, welcome! You're quite welcome! I hope you can join us more often, and that your not going to become a victim of this horrible cut in DXA reimbursements! We miss your wonderful and intuitive contributions!
Take Care and have a Wonderful weekend!
