Oce again you have written a very relevant post which should be of help to the men as well as the women! I am sure atheletes everywhere shall find this extermely helpful!!

Hello Priya!  Thanks so much for reading about the Young Female Athlete Triad Syndrome.  Please pass this along if you know anyone at risk.  We often think of bone loss as an elder disease, but there are many forms that apply to the younger generation. Idiopathic Juvenile OP, Juvenile OP and others.  Bone health is something we should teach our children since bone growth peaks at 18 years old.  Women can continue growth till their 30s, but that is in regards to maximum growth.  Peak growth reaches us much earlier.
