According to the National Osteoporosis Foundation, weight bearing exercises are activities that make you move against gravity while staying upright.

The NOF recommends 2 ½ hours a week, or more, of this type of exercise to help build strong bones and slow bone loss.

What's your favorite exercise? Walking, hiking, dancing, maybe lifting weights, you tell us.

Do you ever get tired of your workout, like me?  If so, what have you done to mix it up? Have you tried any new exercises lately that you could share with us to take the monotony out of our workouts and keep us moving towards stronger bones? Do you have any unique ideas to make the time fly by and more enjoyable when exercising?
