Hi PJ, thanks for another great article! I had no idea about this particular risk of lead and bone loss, thanks for letting us know. And to think about all the products with lead we were exposed to in the 50's and before!
Doesn't seem surprising that bone loss seems to be on the rise, but then I wonder if it really is, since it wasn't discussed or studied much in our predecessors.
True, Pam - osteoporosis just used to be what happened to "old ladies." When I think of all the women with widow's humps I used to see, growing up, and just assumed that's what happens when you get old... Thankfully our education level as a society has been raised. Thanks for your feedback- PJH
