  • As a somewhat reformed Diet Coke drinker (I still have a couple a day, but I used to consume far, far more), I was interested to read about some of the pros and cons of various types of soft drinks in this article:

    While diet drinks can have negative effects on bone health, there is no question that they are far preferable healthwise to the sugared version since they don't bring on empty calories and the risk of tooth decay. And as always (it seems) the bottom line is that your best bet during these hot summer days is staying hydrated with good old-fashioned water.
