The FDA can have some confusing or even convoluted procedures, but it has nothing on the Chinese government, which just declared a traditional remedy that fights osteoporosis to be a "trade secret."
I came across this interesting article on the subject --http://www.pharmasianews.com/2007/08/trade-secret-st.html -- but it included little information on what type of medicine it is or how it works. I guess that's the point of it being a secret!
