I took Evista one time, and was in bed three days from the effects it had on me.  It was horrible. I now take 1,200 milligrams of Calcium and 1,000 of Vitamin D. My druggist told me that was like putting money in the bank.

Evista triggered my two-year long struggle with insomnia. Now I use diet and exercise to combat my osteoporosis. I drink raw dairy, eat raw milk yogurt, and try to consume vitamin K2 each day. Vitamin K2 is found in natto and the fat of grass fed animals. Vitamin K2 is responsible for calcium absorption in bones, while keeping calcium out of joints where it does not belong. Magnesium is helping with my insomnia. Avoid phytates in grains, seeds and beans by long soaking before cooking and eating them. Phytates block mineral absorption.
