Newly diagnosed

I've recently been diagnosed with Osteopenia and I was in shock. I have small bones and or was 5' 1 1/2" so I therefore take a large amount of calcium/magnesium 2000mg. to be as preventive as possible. I am on the treadmill everyother day and eat well. Abnormal Lab Reports for Boniva Infusion Patients

Has anyone experienced abnormal routine lab reports after being on Boniva Infusions for nine (9) months? Boniva and terrible side effects - is this normal???

My mom has been diagnosed with low bone density and was prescribed Boniva 1 dose per month. She was sick in bed for 4 DAYS!!! She was very fluish and had terrible joint pain - and she is not a complainer. She is afraid to take this again...now what can she do? Is this normal?
