is there hope after forteo?

I'm 44, but have osteoporosis pretty badly. Actonel didn't do anything for me, and my doctor put me on Forteo. After a year, I'm afraid that hasn't worked, either. I CANNOT just give up--but what else is there for me to try? Jen

Osteoporosis and weight bearing exercises (max weight?)

Hi all,I have osteoporosis and lift weights, but I have been unable to find anywhere what the maximum safe weight to lift for people with osteoporosis is.  I am 51 and petite.  Does anybody have any advice or ideas?Thanks.
