Forteo complications?

I am 59 and suffered for about 12 years from osteoporosis. I also suffer from Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD) and have for 20 years. Vitamin D Deficiency

I recently had a blood test to determine my vitamin D storage levels. I found out today mine is 28 which is low. My doctor is having me take two powerful vitamin D pills, then wait 2 weeks and repeat the dosage. After a 2 month period we will check the levels again. Had to stop using Forteo

Hello, Wanted to give a up-date about my side effects. Took Forteo for 2-weeks, did o.k. Then I had severe pain in my spine after taking the injection, call my Dr., His reply was the Forteo had nothing to do with the pain, next time go the the emergency room.
