Q: Bone check and Testing

For some reason I keep getting "error" so I will add more words to see if this works:

 

Osteoporosis inquiry:  What test is best for a 48 year old female?  Mother has osteoporosis.  DEXA or Bone Density Scan?

Hi nanette, welcome... I'm not sure what type of error you are recieving, but if it's preventing you from posting report it to the site.  I would try the "contact us" link below.

 

A bone density scan is a DXA (aka DEXA).  So that's the test you'd want to have to determine your bone density scores.
