Hi Todd, welcome and thanks for your question.  I'm so sorry your mom is having so much trouble.  You mentioned that she had troubles before the infusion, so I was wondering if she was tested for any other bone disorder?  There are some bone disorders that have these type of symptoms, but the Dr. would have to test her for them.

I would ask the Dr. to check for any other disorder that causes this unusual bone growth, to make sure they aren't missing something that could be treated seperately.

If her insurance won't pay for additional testing you could check with the nearest Univ Hospital and see if they have a bone specialist that provides reduced cost appointments/tests.  If they don't do this they may be able to direct you to some place that does.

There's still the possibility that the drug is causing this, but I would make sure there isn't something else going on before I would be convinced.

Good luck and if you have another question just ask.
