Hi Kathy:  I talked to the rep at Lily several times during my 2 years on Forteo, and didn't have any trouble.  However, I wasn't calling about side effects per se, I was calling about injection concerns, and insurance coverage questions.   If the rep wasn't helpful I wouldn't write them off altogether.  It's entirely possible that you spoke to someone who was having personal issues, or a bad day, and just took it out on you.  Before I'd give up using their phone in assistance I would try again, and if need be ask for the registered nurse or supervisor in charge.   I can only assume that you had a bad experience, and I wouldn't let one or even two bad calls stop my contact with them.  You spend a lot of money on forteo and deserve appropriate attention.  Unfortunately sometimes it takes talking to several different people before you get the correct advice.   I would try again and ask for the supervisor or nurse, and explain why, in a very calm yet determined manner.  See if this works, and if not tell them you wish to report the rep/super/nurse to their quality care line.   Good luck with this, and let us know how it goes and if your problem is actually resolved, as it should be.
