Hi Kathy, welcome and thanks for your question.  Unfortunately I don't have any experience with Reclast, but if you'd like to know what the common side effects are I can tell you that.  The long term effects, if you have any, would be similar to the common side effects.

If you are considering this, make sure you have a creatinine test and a calcium test to check your levels.  If you have any pre-existing kidney problems make sure the Dr. is aware of this.  This information comes from the manufacturer of Reclast which is Novartis, under their Important Safety Information which is listed in the article below.
