Hi Kathy, welcome and thanks for your question.  Unfortunately I don't have any experience with Reclast, but if you'd like to know what the common side effects are I can tell you that.  The long term effects, if you have any, would be similar to the common side effects.   If you are considering this, make sure you have a creatinine test and a calcium test to check your levels.  If you have any pre-existing kidney problems make sure the Dr. is aware of this.  This information comes from the manufacturer of Reclast which is Novartis, under their Important Safety Information which is listed in the article below.   If you'd like to read an article on this check out this link on Reclast that lists the side effects and many other things you'd need to know before you take it.   Good luck and ask your Dr. if he/she thinks this is right for you.  If you have another question just ask.
