Q: Has anyone besides my mom had problems with severely elevated calcium levels with all the other diag

Mom's calcium all of a sudden increased-to 16.  All signs led to multiple myeloma-but the tests are negative.  After a year of forteo could she be suffering from an adverse side affect?  The forteo really helped with her osteoporosis.  She had multiple spinal fractures but her pain improved-so the forteo had a positive affect.  Please answer.  She has been off forteo and all other meds for 4 weeks.  She is currently in the hospital  hydrating to get the calcium level down.   We just want to help her and make the correct decisions about her care.
