Hi BKlady, welcome and thanks for your question.  Below is a link from Eli Lily that lists all the side effects of Forteo.  It does list neck pain as a side effect that was seen in 3% of the group tested taking Forteo.  You'll notice that the placebo group (not taking the drug) also reported neck pain in 2.7% of the participants.   I took Forteo and did really well and the only side effects I had were greatly improved t-scores going from severe osteo to osteopenia in 1 year, and improved a bit more in the second year.   Check with your Dr. about this neck pain, he would have to tell you what to do for this.  I'm not sure what the suggestion would be but he or she needs to tell you what to do.   Here's the link from Eli Lily that mentions neck pain so you can read it, it's on page 4.  You can also read this article from the Cleveland Clinic on Forteo that explains how Forteo works.   Good luck and I sure hope there is something that can be done for this neck pain.
