Q: small bone exposed on jaw

I have exposed bone on my left jaw above the molar. What caused this and how do you fix it.

I also had the same problem, but no pain.  I was taking Actenol, but stopped, and wish I knew what else to do, I am afraid to ruin the inside of my mouth!
