Q: Which form of CA is best as a supplement to stimulate Actenol?

I see Calcium carbonate, phosphate, etc.  and wonder which CA is best to stimulate the working of Actonl?

Hi Karen:  Great question since we have so many options to chose from.  What you want to consider is how much elemental calcium is in the brand you are looking at.  Each form of calcium (citrate, carbonate, etc) has a different amount of *elemental calcium* which is the portion of the calcium that is absorbable by your system.  Here's a link from the Mayo Clinic on elemental calcium explaining how you can calculate it and how to figure how much of it is in each form of calcium on the market.
