For some patients, there is a flu-like feeling (fever, muscle pain, etc.) that lasts for a couple days after the infusion and usually improves with Tylenol. In rare cases intravenous bisphosphonates have been associated with a painful condition called osteonecrosis of the jaw. If you have certain preexisiting conditions, Reclast could cause problems for your kidneys, so make sure you drink plenty of water and always discuss your complete medical history and all drugs you are taking with your doctor before you begi treatment. If you have severe bone or joint pain, numbness or tingling after the infusion, make sure you tell your doctor right away. Good luck with this!
