Hi Ladyrev, welcome and thanks for your question.  I'm not sure what you mean by "it doesn't look like the indicator is going up?"  Whenever you have any difficulty with the Forteo pens, call the number on the Forteo box which is Eli Lily's help line.  This number will take you to a nurse or representative that can answer your questions.  When I've talked to them in the past, they were very helpful.   I took Forteo for 2 years, but never tried the new pen.  Here's the number for Eli Lily.  You should also be able to find this number on the box the pen comes in. 1-866-4FORTEO   Good luck and if you have any other questions just ask.
