Hi Theresa, welcome and thanks for your question.  Did your Dr. or Pharmacist give you any instructions about the timing of the new dose of Actonel.  If you've already gotten it filled, check the label to see if it says when to start it.  Since I have no medical training I couldn't begin to guess about this, so you'd need to have the Dr. or Pharmacist instruct you on what to do.   If your pharmacy is open right now, you could call and ask, explaining that you were on weekly Actonel and tell them when you took the last dose of it.  The pharmacist should be able to tell you when to start the new dose based on the date of your last 35 mg. weekly dose.   Good luck finding out, and if your pharmacy isn't open today you can also call another neighborhood pharmacy and ask the same question.  Also, plan on taking the new dose on a convenient day for you, so you can repeat the routine once every month.  Be sure to take it on an empty stomach and only with 8 ounces of water and to stay upright for 60 minutes afterwards.  You can go about your morning routine as long as you don't lie down during those first 60 minutes.  It's very important to finish the full 8 ounce glass of water to be sure the medication gets into your stomach properly.
