Q: Imatrix made my voice squeeky, the dr said not possible it was a vasodilator, not vasoconstrictor. Zomig made the back half of my pallet bumpy, Maxalt gave me a full blown life threatening raction .

The Dr gave me Maxalt after I complained Zomig made the back of my pallet bumpy, she said that the Maxalt would disolve in my stomach and not sublingual as the Zomig was, well, the Maxalt hit my tongue and started disolving, so I washed my mouth out and went to bed thinking maybe if I were lucky the migrane would be gone in the morning. Instead I woke up at 4 am, tongue as big as a sausage, rushed to the hospital, transferred to another, spent time on a ventilator, ICU and was told that I had a 30 minute left when I got to the hospital. Do I have any legal recourse in this matter?

Hi cabinmama, welcome...You should try asking your question at our Migraine site.  Here's the link to MyMigraineConnection.com where you can ask your question and get excellent advice.

This is an osteoporosis site, so we aren't familiar with the medications you mentioned.

Good luck...
