Hi Sweetpeg, welcome and thanks for your question.  All medications come with risks and benefits, so you'd need to read as much about Forteo and see if you have any pre-existing medical conditions that might be contraindicated with Forteo.

 

I'm not a health professional so I can only give you my personal opinion.  I took Forteo and did really well on it without any side effects, but I suppose there are some who have had differing reactions.

 

Talk to your Dr. about this and weight the risk versus benefit in "your" case taking your medical history into acount.
