I have been taking a multi-vitamin than has 800 mg of calcium. & 400 of vitamin D.

I was supplementing my vitamin D with a 400 pill.  I eat the remainder of my calcium through foods.  When I took more calcium supplements my blood calcium level was too high.  My multi recently changed to 800 units of vitamin D.  Should I not take the extra supplement now or is…
