Q: I have taken two doses of Reclast. 5 mos after the 2nd, I have bad groin pain in both hips. Hurts when I move my legs. Any connection?

It started with a strange feeling of cricks in my muscles. First it was a crick on the right side, then the left, then down my back followed by an extreme case of bursitis in my right knee. Got a cortisone injection and muscle relaxers. Then the pain settled in my left hip in the groin region. Now I have it on the right side too. It is very painful when I move my thighs. I can hardly walk sometimes. I have no idea where all this came from but I just wanted to be sure that it couldn't be caused by the Reclast. to get an

Hi curious, welcome.  I would see your Dr. again and explain your symptoms!  If you are having trouble walking have they ordered any x-rays of your legs/hips?
