Q: Asked doctor to take me off Actonel after eye hurt so badly. what would have happened to eye?

I asked my doctor to take me off Actonel after a year of my eye hurting so bad & me thinking it was just going to pop out with so much pain. what would have happened to eye. I may need to go back on.

Hi arnita lee, welcome and thanks for your question. Whenever the side effects from a drug become to troublesome you may have to stop it or consider something else. If you feel that this drug is causing too many problems, ask your Dr. for some other suggestion.

Sorry you had such trouble with your eyes, and just to be on the safe side I would have them checked by your opthamalogist to be sure something else isn't going on that could cause this that needs to be treated.
