Hi Cecilia, Thank you for your question. I'm not aware of Fosamax being a problem for glaucoma patients. I didn't see anything about it in the product information for Fosamax. However, there are other options. Boniva is a once-a-month tablet for osteoporosis. Actonel is available in daily, once-a-week, and once-a-month formulations. Miacalcin in an inhaled daily medication. I would suggest speaking with her doctor about which of these medications would be the best for your mother, taking into consideration her other medications and other medical conditions.
