Thank you for sharing your excellent question about Evista. The best way to make sure a medication is safe is to ensure your prescribing physician has been informed of your complete medical history as well as any other drugs you are currently taking. The biggest risks with Evista are related to concerns about blood clots and stroke -- so do discuss with your doctor if you might be at risk for such conditions, because in that case you may want to rethink this course of treatment. Also, if you are not completely done with menopause, you might experience some hot flashes from the medication. Take a look at www.evista.com for more details and good luck!
