Hi Diann, welcome...Yes there is a time-released osteo med out now. If you'd like to know more, here's an article on Atelvia which is Actonel in delayed release formula.
According to the manufacturer, you can take it immediately after eating a meal with 4 ounces of water, but you must remain upright for at least 30 minutes.
