Thank you for your question. There are side effects associated with Evista, but it's important for you to know that every medication effects each person differently, so you may experience some or none of these side effects, or even different side effects.

 

The most common side effects associated with Evista (generic name raloxifene) are leg cramps and hot sweats. A more serious, though much more rare, side effect is developing a blod clot in your leg or in your lungs.
