Don't let RA limit your routineLearn more now about a treatment that may help

Q: My doctor prescribed DXA/DEXA peripheral study but my insurance denied the necessity for the test?

I have sacrolilitis and I am HLA-B27 positive (form of ankylosing spondylitis).

Is that test medically justified/necessary? Is my Insurance carrier is right?

Are there any articles that can justify a need fo this test (I am fighting their adverse decision)? I can greatl appreciate some sources to proove a need for this test.
