Wondering if there are any good experiences with bisphosphonates

Letter from my Dr today 10-29-08 sharing that my bone density scan, dexa; shows moderate risk for fracture; ostesopenia. Researching the med recommended, Fosamax.. indicate the the side effects are much worse than noted on the med site. I have had hip and other pain for some time and do not look...
