Q: I seem to have reactions from drugs i have to take for osteoperosis

Yes, some women do not tolerate these medications well. I was prescribed Fosimax. I did not tolerate it. It constipated me and gave me a very uncomfortable feeling. I also had alot of red blood passed during elimination.

I talked to my doctor and she wanted me to stay on it and tolerate the side effects.

I cut the dose in half and tried taking it, but still had problems. So I am trying on my own other means. I am taking a liquid calcium supplement, and walking using light weights on my arms and ankles.

Just because the doctor says you should take it, we have to take responsibility in our own health.
