Q: Is Reclast covered by Medicare?

I will start Reclast next week and my insurance covers it but in 2 years I will be on medicare and I am wondering if anyoof the Medicare P;ans will cover Reclast.

Thanks for your question! Now that Reclast has been FDA approved for osteoporosis, it is generally covered by Medicare -- although some readers have reported trouble getting that coverage. Believe it or not, it may depend on the region one lives in the country. I recommend you ask your doctor if he or she has had trouble or success getting Medicare to cover the treatment for other patients -- good luck!

I have Medicare A and B. I also have a supplement. Am I covered??
